ABOUT NM MEN OF HONOR
NM Men of Honor is an interdenominational men’s ministry affiliated with New Mexico Prays. We seek to help men become more devoted Christ-followers and strengthen their marriages, families, workplace, church, and community.
OUR VISION
The vision of NM Men of Honor is to unite, equip, and encourage men in New Mexico through quarterly events that focus on worship, prayer, and Bible teaching.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Christ-centered: We seek to honor Jesus Christ in everything we do and say. We strive to put Christ first and give Him the preeminence in all things. There is no room in NM Men of Honor for pride, self-promotion or arrogant boasting. We live for His glory and His renown, not to exalt ourselves or our ministry. The primary motivation behind everything we do must be to honor Jesus and give Him the supremacy. Jesus is the Head of NM Men of Honor and we are His servants. It’s not about us—it’s all about Jesus.

Brian Alarid
NM Men Of Honor | President & CEO, America Prays
Brian Alarid is the President and CEO of America Prays, Founding Pastor of Passion Church, and Co-Chairman of New Mexico Prays. He has a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, and Bachelor’s degree in Theology. He has 24 years of experience of pastoral ministry and executive leadership. Dennis Poper
Chair, NM Men of Honor
Dennis has been attending Calvary Church since the early 1980s. While attending Calvary, he started a Men’s bible study in 1994 after coming back from a Promise Keepers event and he is still leading the same Men’s bible study. In addition to leading the men’s group, Dennis volunteers for the after service decision team, the communion board, and he is a teacher and mentor for the Biblical Discipleship Team.
He has been married to Tillie Poper for 32 years. Together they have 2 son’s and 1 daughter, Austin, Ryan and Joslin, and they have 4 grandsons. He can be found hunting and fishing in the great outdoors with his children and grandsons.
Richard Mansfield
Senior Pastor, New Beginnings Church
Richard Mansfield is the Founder and Senior Pastor of New Beginnings Church in Albuquerque, NM. He was an APD Chaplain for 30 years and served on faculty at Mid-America Christian University. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business from UTEP and a Master’s degree in Pastoral Studies. Richard lives in Albuquerque with his wife Cindy.
